The office of the president has denied reports that the Indian community in the Gambia, recently donated one million dollars to president Adama Barrow. The rebuttal was made by Amie Bojang Sissoho, Director of press and public relations at the president’s office. She was reacting to a media query sought by the Freedom Newspaper for her to shed light on reports suggesting that president Barrow was a beneficiary of a one million dollar donation from Indian community in the Gambia.
Pa, it is not true that the Indian community gave President Barrow One million Dollars,” said Mrs. Bojang Sissoho in an email to this medium on Thursday.
“Also, it is not true that the gateway has been given to any company at the time of responding to you. Regards,” she concluded.
